Murata's History

Beginning

The company began in 1944 in a small factory in Kyoto, Japan. Since then, Murata has contributed to the advancement of society and the evolution of the electronics industry.

Global Expansion

Using the first export in 1959 as a foothold, we established overseas bases one after another. We strengthened our production system and took the first step towards becoming a full-fledged global company. And with the arrival of the Internet age, we continue to respond flexibly to the increasing diversification of listening.
